Eligibility

1. Candidates belonging to the General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories must have a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree from a university established by law, with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates holding a B.E. or B.Tech. degree with specialization in Mathematics and Science must have a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates possessing any other equivalent qualification are also eligible to appear in the entrance examination. 2. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree from a university established by law. Candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree in B.E. or B.Tech. with specialization in Mathematics and Science, or possessing any other equivalent qualification, are also eligible to appear in the entrance examination. 3. Visually impaired candidates shall be granted a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum educational qualification at the undergraduate level.
